HOW TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY?

The founder of the well-known page on one million dollars Alex Tyyu created one more its copy. But with its help it collects today not one million dollars, and 50 000 pounds (if I am not mistaken).

And not for the study at institute, and for rescue of the seriously ill patient of 46-year-old cousin Maggie Thomas, the inhabitant of Great Britain, swear at six children who struggles two years with a fatal illness (and in this fight I lost all family accumulation).

And in spite of the fact that the idea of multimillion pages isn't new, and her followers hardly could collect one million dollars (how many they were after success of a page of Alex! ) Alex Tyyu's new page, seemingly, the success (if click on the picture, this page will open in a new window) again waits:

I judge on that some small squares are already redeemed (one square of 10х10 pixels costs 5 pounds, these are about 7.7 dollars). And while I wrote these lines, the number of the sold pixels increased on 2700 (27 small squares, or 135 pounds).

And in what a secret of success of similar monetary collecting?

Certainly, the role here plays also Alex Tyyu's popularity (in due time who only didn't promote him, and in a today's case about its new initiative reported large editions).

But the important role in charity as it seems to me, is played also by visual return of an action. For example, in the form of an advertizing banner or a text reference (or, at the worst, simply mentions of a name and a surname of the philanthropist).

That is each donor of money, except feeling of the executed debt, can count on some attention from the public. And, sometimes, on additional public relations and possible profit.

Why at us so thank donators a little?

That is a lot of them and all you won't list - can't be an excuse. Alex Tyyu after all manages to thank everyone.

Some resources living at the expense of charitable donations, simply hang out listing of all donors (with the indication of the sum and a reference):

For a half of December the site denwer.ru collected already 75 dollars (a little, of course, but without this listing, probably, would collect even less).

In the best times (it is possible when the site was more attentive to the readers) it managed to collect and large sums. For example, in July, 2009 the site managed to collect 332 dollars; in May of the same year - 368 dollars.

Certainly, to mention all philanthropists on TV or in the newspaper it is rather difficult (places too little), but here on a site - very much even it is possible.
